The regime charges her under five articles of the Criminal Code.

The Mediazona news publisher recalls that Belarus charges Vitebsk resident Jana Pinchuk under five articles: libel (Article 188 of the Criminal Code), illegal conduct with other person's personal data (Part 3 of Article 203-1 of the Criminal Code), inciting social discord and enmity (Part 3 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code), creation or leadership of extremist community (Part 1 and 2 of Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code), call to action against national security (Part 3 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code).

On July 20, it became known that Jana Pinchuk's health had deteriorated. According to her husband Mikita Safronau, Jana is not provided with medical care in St. Petersburg's pre-trial detention centre No 5. He also clarified that he learned about his wife's condition from a letter. According to Safronau, Jaan Pinchuk has been ill "for almost a month" and has not received any medical care. Despite the temperature of 39 degrees, she was not given an antipyretic.

On April 18, Russia approved a request for the extradition of the Vitebsk resident to Belarus. The extradition order states that, according to the investigation, she ran three telegram channels: Vitebsk 97%, Orsha 97% and Navapolatsk and Polatsk 97%, all three are recognized as 'extremist channels'.

Nevertheless, on July 12, the UN Human Rights Committee asked Russia not to extradite Belarusian Jana Pinchuk to her homeland. The defendant's lawyer, Maria Belyaeva, said that this was the first case when the UN agency was involved in a deportation case of the Belarusian oppositionists from Russia.
