‘Unidentified Flying Object’ Falls In Poland

The prosecutor's office told what it was.

On Monday, March 4, an unknown object fell in a field near Miłaków (Ostróda County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship of Poland). The Elbląg prosecutor's office said it was probably a weather balloon, Fakt reports.

According to the publication, Major of the 16th Pomeranian Mechanized Division Magdalena Kościńska said that this is a civil matter, not a military one, and it is being dealt with by the police and the prosecutor's office.

The Elbląg prosecutor's office noted that according to preliminary data, this is a meteorological balloon. They added that employees of the Internal Security Service and law enforcement officers were at the scene.
