Lukashenka Accuses Belarusians Of Not Paying For Water

The dictator has once again found a reason to be dissatisfied with Belarusians.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka called for a more careful approach to the country's existing resources. He said this during the ceremonial launch of artesian water from underground sources to provide water supply to Minsk, his press service reports.

“What worries me most is that we sometimes treat the resources we have recklessly,” Lukashenka said. This applies, for example, to the attitude towards forests, land resources and much more. “We have the same thing with solid household waste. We have the same thing with water,” he added.

“You do not pay for water as much as it costs. Therefore, please save water, as well as other resources,” Lukashenka said. “Frugality has always been inherent in our people. We must preserve these approaches.”
