Firefighters Unable To Extinguish Fire At Oil Depot In Engels For Four Days After Drone Attack

In the Russian city of Engels, an oil depot has been burning for four days. It was attacked by Ukrainian defenders.

RBC-Ukraine reports this with a reference to governor of the Saratov region Roman Busargin, as he wrote this on Telegram.

The Russian official points out that an “industrial enterprise” is burning, not an oil depot at the Engels-2 military airfield.

According to him, the area of the fire has allegedly decreased by 80% and there is less smoke.

“The process of fuel burning continues, specialists are taking all necessary measures. Rospotrebnadzor experts continue to monitor the air quality on an ongoing basis,” he wrote.
