The information was found in the traffic police building in Minsk.

A portrait of stand-up comedian Slava Kamisaranka appeared on the “Wanted by Police” stand. The comedian posted photos of the stand on his Instagram.

“Some guys I know were in Minsk at the traffic police, so they sent me a photo,” Kamisaranka wrote and posted photos of the “Wanted by Police” stands.

Slava Kamisaranka lives abroad. He is a famous Belarusian stand-up comedian. After the 2020 presidential “elections” in Belarus, Kamisaranka repeatedly spoke out about their falsification and condemned the violence of law-enforcers against protesters. In his speeches, he parodied Aliaksandr Lukashenka and called him “Chyk-Chyryk” (which literally means “Chirrup-chirrup birdie” — edit.)

On December 30, the Minsk City Court sentenced him in absentia to six years in prison under three articles of the Criminal Code, including for “insulting” Lukashenka.
