Captured DPRK Soldier Confesses What He Was Ordered To Do With Ukrainian Military

The North Korean military had clear instructions on how to behave when meeting soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was stated by a captured DPRK soldier during a conversation with investigators.

“If we capture a soldier from Ukraine, we show him pictures: one with a house, another with a weapon. And we let him show what he chooses. If he chooses the house, he is released, if he chooses the weapon, we hand him over,” the prisoner said.

He specified that in all this time, the North Korean soldiers have never managed to capture a single Ukrainian soldier.

In addition, the DPRK prisoner of war confessed that Russia issued him documents that indicated a false name, and the military ID itself did not contain a photo of the “holder”.

He said he had been alone for several days, abandoned by his comrades during the retreat, before Ukrainian defenders found him wounded.
