First NATO Patrol Ships Arrive In The Gulf Of Finland

The first ships of the new NATO patrol mission Baltic Sentry, which will protect underwater infrastructure in the Baltic Sea, are already in the Gulf of Finland, Yle reports.
NATO Maritime Command published a message on Wednesday that the German warship FGS Datteln and the Dutch HNLMS Luymes moved in the Baltic Sea on January 13 for the purpose of training and practicing joint actions.
The tweet notes that the ships are involved in supporting the Baltic Sentry mission.
Journalists from the Finnish broadcaster found out from the Vessel Finder service that two NATO vessels are in the Gulf of Finland.
