Ukrainian Forces Enter Enemy's Rear Near Kursk

Ukrainian tactics enable them to capture new Russian territories rapidly.
The Ukrainian forces have been holding a large area in the territory of the aggressor state — Russia — in the Kursk region for 6 months now. The occupiers have received orders to return the lost territories several times, but they have not yet managed to do so.
There are several reasons for this. The former deputy chairman of the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine), retired SBU Major General Viktor Yahun, spoke about this on Glavred. According to him, first of all, it is necessary to pay attention to the fact that almost no Russian military personnel are participating in the hostilities in the Kursk region.
"Of course, certain trained forces were pulled up by the Russians, for example, the 810th Marine Brigade. You should see these Russian Marines! I remember the 810th Brigade in Sevastopol very well: they were two-meter guys. Now there are no such Marines there. And in general, Russia does not have any regular troops that it can use to counter the Ukrainians. Of course, I am not saying that all of our servicemen are great heroes, but our situation is different,” he noted.
In addition, a significant reason why the enemy is failing is that the Ukrainian military uses maneuver warfare tactics, not a solid front. Therefore, any attempt by the occupiers to advance looks something like this: the Russian army enters a village, but there is no one there, after which it turns out that the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered the settlement that the enemy had just abandoned from the rear.
“That is, ours simply bypass the enemy army and enter its rear from the other side. And then the Russians retreat in panic, because they do not understand what will happen next. This is the kind of war: they chase each other. And it is Ukraine that is imposing such a war on the Russians,” Yahun explained.
At the same time, the enemy army uses completely different methods of capturing settlements in the Kursk region. Usually, the occupiers simply use KABs, which fly over the cities and villages of the Russian Federation and destroy the houses of the Russians themselves.
As for the enemy personnel in the Kursk region - according to Yagun, the majority there are conscripts and North Korean soldiers. Despite all the intimidation, the soldiers from North Korea did not show their power and, on the contrary, are frightened by what is happening.
