Several households were damaged.

An X-69 missile, which the Russian army is shelling Ukrainian energy facilities, fell and exploded near the village of Aleksandrovka in the Voronezh Region, causing a fire. This was reported to Astra by the region's emergency services.

Another incident with a “munition falling” onto Russian territory occurred on January 15. Debris from an unknown object was found in a field near Aleksandrovka, which was mistaken for fragments of a downed attack drone.

However, the Russian Guard officers who arrived at the scene determined that these were fragments of a Russian X-69 cruise missile. Such Russian aircraft are launched at Ukrainian energy facilities. According to sources, the missile made a so-called “involuntary descent” and was destroyed upon impact. No one was injured in the incident.

Russian Air Force planes regularly drop ordnance on Russian territory. This mostly happens in the Belgorod region. On January 2, 2024, one of the Russian missiles launched at Ukraine fell and exploded in the village of Petropavlovka in the Voronezh region.

The Russian Defense Ministry called it an “unusual” fall of an aircraft ordnance. Several households were damaged.
