DPRK Soldiers Suddenly Disappear From Battlefield

AFU soldiers have explained why it happened.
After several weeks of continuous attacks, the North Korean soldiers sent by North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un to Russia to participate in the war against Ukraine have hardly appeared on the battlefield.
This was reported by The Washington Post on 19 January, citing Ukrainian military personnel fighting in Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
The journalists' interlocutors point out that Russian troops continue to advance towards Ukrainian positions in Kursk region.
‘The ‘sudden disappearance’ of the North Koreans from the battlefield could be a sign that they are regrouping and assessing future actions, the article notes. It could also be the result of multiple injuries and exhaustion from recent fighting.
‘They are licking their wounds,’ WP quoted a Ukrainian soldier named Vitaliy who spent eight hours in a firefight with members of the DPRK army in December.
According to the Ukrainian fighters, when the North Koreans first appeared on the battlefield in Kursk region, they were moving in large groups and did not even try to hide from Ukrainian drones. As a result, many of them were killed in the first assaults.
However, those who took part in the following battles showed themselves combat-ready, strong and good shooters, the AFU fighters told reporters. The North Koreans are learning from their mistakes and adapting to warfare in modern conditions.
