10 Hits: ‘Lyuty’ Drones Attack Ryazan

In the evening of 23 January, drones attacked the Russian city of Ryazan, where residents heard dozens of powerful explosions near a local oil depot. This was reported by the Russian publication of Astra.

At the same time, the Russian public page of Mash noted that Ryazan was attacked by Ukrainian long-range kamikaze drones ‘Lyuty’, which can cover a distance of more than 1,000 kilometres.
Pavel Malkov, the governor of Ryazan region, confirmed that the region was attacked by the drones.
‘The means of air defence and electronic warfare have destroyed unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of Ryazan region. According to preliminary information there are no casualties, material damage is being assessed,’ Malkov wrote.
Subsequently, monitoring telegram channels reported that the drones did hit the oil depot.
‘The refinery is just big, the scale is good, they say there were 10 hits,’ the message said.
As of the time of publishing the material, the Ukrainian side had not commented on the information about the attack on the oil depot in Ryazan.
