The Ukrainians turned out to be different from what the propagandists told him.
A Russian occupier, who was captured by the Azov fighters, spoke about the attitude towards the dead soldiers in the Russian occupation army.
A conversation with 56-year-old Vadim Kolegov from Siberia was published by the Telegram channel “Nikolaevsky Vanek”.
The Russian says that he went to war against Ukraine because of financial problems. He allegedly wanted to be a driver, but he was sent to be a stormtrooper.
The occupier added that he lived in cellars near the Ukrainian village of Nelepivka, and now has much better conditions in captivity:
“Look, it's January, winter. Not sitting in a pit or cellar, but in the light, and going to a white toilet. Eating twice a day. Isn't this happiness for a prisoner?” The Russian soldier was surprised that the Azov fighters turned out to be completely different from how they are presented on Russian television — “thugs who kill everyone indiscriminately.”
He was also shocked that in order to serve in Azov, it is necessary to pass a whole series of standards.
“Our army takes the crooked, the cross-eyed, the lame as contract soldiers. What kind of stormtrooper am I, I'm almost a pensioner,” he said, noting the bestial attitude towards the dead occupiers and the losses of the Russian army.
