CCD: Russian Major Oil Refinery Hit

It was processing 14 million tonnes of oil a year.
On the night of Friday, 31 January, one of the largest oil refineries in the Russian region was attacked. The refinery is located in Volgograd region.
Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation, wrote about it on Telegram.
‘The Volgograd oil refinery was hit. It is one of the largest in the Russian Federation,’ Kovalenko wrote.
He also specified that the refinery's design processing capacity is about 14 million tonnes of oil per year. This makes it the sixth largest refinery in Russia. The refinery produces petrol, diesel, fuel oil and jet fuel.

Tonight, Russians complained of explosions in Volgograd region. Sounds of explosions, drone overflights and gunfire, were heard at around 3am local time.
Local residents said that allegedly unknown drones attacked a refinery in Krasnoarmeysky district, but there was also information about attacking the Lukoil refinery, which is located directly in Volgograd.
