He was the deputy chief of staff.
As a result of a strike on the command post of Russian officers in the town of Lgov on 30 December, another top commander of the occupants was eliminated. Necro Mancer writes that Storm Shadow missiles eliminated 35-year-old Major Ali Tsurov from Ingushetia.
He was deputy chief of staff of the 104 Airborne Assault Regiment of the 76th Division stationed in Russia's Pskov region.
‘The deputy chief of staff of 104 AAR Major Ali Tsurov, born in Ingushetia in 1989, always made the right decisions, and especially on 30 December 2024, when he got into the Lgov bunker in time,’ the report reads.
Tsurov was buried in Ingushetia on 5 January. The death of the occupant was confirmed by the republic's government, but they did not specify the circumstances and place of the major's liquidation. The official report mentioned only ‘death during a special military operation’. Tsurov remained in the army after compulsory service, having signed a contract.
It is known that Tsurov served in the 104th Airborne Assault Regiment of the 76th Pskov Division. Earlier, two more officers from the same division liquidated in Lgov were identified: lieutenant colonels Valery Tereshchenko and Pavel Maletsky.
